William Bronson
Commander’s Comments:

Hope that everyone has a happy Thanksgiving and would like to wish all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. As you can see we have a lot of events planned at the post. They will only be a success if we have
participation from our members. Still looking for more volunteers for the Color Guard. If anyone is interested in becoming a Service Officer for the post please let me know.

The riding season is coming to an end. Post 1 Riders have had a productive year so far. Riders have represented the post at Polling Thunder in Washington, DC, Vermont Thunder, Ride for the Guard and several local parades. Our fund-raising efforts have included a gas grill raffle and a car and motorcycle show and shine as well as participating in the 50/50 drawings at the weekly Queen of Hearts drawing. We have made donations to local veterans in need, the American Legion Legacy Fund and will be travelling to The Bennington Veterans Home on December 9th to deliver our yearly gifts.
Anyone wishing to make the trip can contact me or any other Legion Rider for Information. We thank everyone for their support and hope to continue having fun riding our motorcycles while doing good and representing our Legion Family
